King von Pontecchi is a picture perfect 18 month old German Shepherd. He's one of those dogs that people will stop you for and say "What a beautiful dog!"  King's last owners got him as a puppy and left him in the backyard until they finally decided he was just too big for them. He's a tall, large framed boy and definitely needs to gain some weight. We think he will be around 90-100 pounds once he gains weight and fills out.  King is a very sweet and friendly soul who really just wants some love and attention.  He is going to need to be taught some basic manners and would benefit from a Shepherd savvy owner.  We can see that he is very intelligent, has a lot of potential, and he is just waiting for the right adopter to help him reach it. You can't help but fall in love with his happy, silly attitude. King's adoption fee is $500 to help his friend Simba with his medical bills.
